Job Outline

In this position you be responsible to monitor and operate security and operational systems within G4S’s main Control Room. This involves real time surveillance, responding to incidents, coordinating with security personnel, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.

• Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems, to ensure the safety and security of premises.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of all activities and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with on-site security personnel, emergency services, and management.
• Conduct regular system checks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist in coordinating response actions during security breaches or other emergencies.

Ideal Requirements

• Proficiency in English and Maltese.
• Ability to use various computer systems and software applications, including security management systems.
• Willingness to work shifts on a 24/7 basis including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Previous experience in a similar security role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Possession of Security Guard Licence.
