G4S has a heritage of more than 100 years
Since we took over SAFETECH in Madagascar in 2003
G4S Madagascar provides security solutions for the public sectors:
Small and medium enterprises
International companies and industries/Private residences/embassies/Diplomatic missions and non-governmental organizations
Currently, the company employs 2,500 people throughout the country.
2003
SAFETECH started in Madagascar in 2003 and, after a fruitful cooperation with "the US Embassy" (for security services), SAFETECH Madagascar (currently G4S Madagascar) collaborated with a large number of public and private organizations , such as:
• British Embassy,
• Norwegian Embassy
• Henri Fraise Society
• HOLCIM
• DYNATEC
• ADRA (Adventist Development and Agency Relief)
• MICTSL - Madagascar International Container Ltd. Services in Tamatave
• And other customers / residential and commercial sites, providing them with security services
2004
In 2004, SAFETECH launched the "Emergency Response Services" from the "Surveillance Service"
2006
In 2006, SAFETECH had more than 1,000 employees and provided a wide range of security services and integrated security solutions.
2007-2008
SAFETECH MADAGASCAR becomes a member of the G4S group and continues its qualitative and quantitative development
A tick at the end of 2008 shows that G4S employs 1800 people
2009
The year 2009 was the year of the deep reorganization and modernization of G4S Madagascar
It was also the beginning of the standardization of G4S International Plc sequences
G4S Madagascar continues to grow despite the political and economic crisis that shook the country
By offering a wide range of security solutions, the company (G4S Madagascar) has experienced sustained growth, while continuing its modernization and launching a wide range of high value-added services (remote monitoring, real-time geolocation of vehicles customers, development of a complex integrated monitoring system)
