Here at G4S Health Services, we are committed to meeting and exceeding our social responsibilities.
We pride ourselves on being a ‘force for good’ within the communities in which we operate.
That’s why we have embedded our 'Social Value Model and Action Plan' and even have a 'Social Value Network of Ambassadors' throughout every contract - this ensures that communities and the environment benefit from G4S Health Services operating within them.
We employ people from the local communities in which we operate, and we have well established referrals and links into third sector organisations within our local communities. We also liaise with third sector organisations to ensure people know how to access our services.
We consistently look for ways to improve the accesibility of our services for our patients (for example we use accessible communication aids, we have installed hearing loops in every SARC, arranged access to deaf interpreters and have BSL trained staff, location dependent).
We are working in partnership with the Wolverhampton Alliance to increase accesibility to patients from LGBTQ+ communities and we have rolled out role specific Health literacy training to our entire workforce!
