G4S chosen to support over 100,000 people to find work
restart scheme
G4S Employee Support Services (ESS) will deliver the Restart Scheme in the North-West of England. We are working with 18 organisations across the North West, from the private, public and voluntary sector to support Universal Credit claimants who have been out of work for between 12 to 18 months.
“We are delighted to be playing an important role in getting people back into work in these difficult times.” said Graham Levinsohn, Regional CEO of G4S in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.
“We’ve been working with the DWP since 2011 to support people into lasting employment. We are proud to be chosen to continue to work closely with the Department to deliver and expand these essential employment services to thousands of people.”
Plan for jobs
The DWP’s Restart Scheme will develop a strong understanding of individuals’ employment history, skills, aspirations and needs to develop the right package of support to help each participant succeed.
Minister for Employment Mims Davies MP said: “Our Plan for Jobs is delivering fresh hope and new opportunity across the country with people of all ages already being supported to move into work.
“The new DWP Restart Scheme will give over a million jobseekers the crucial tailored support they need to find new employment and thrive as we push to build back better and recover from the impact on our jobs market.”
The scheme will launch at the end of June. If you are interested in working for G4S to deliver the Restart Scheme, you can learn more about our available roles here.
