Peter will direct the FM corporate accounts nationally, as well as overseeing the Offshore Islands’ FM and security businesses in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. Brumby will additionally be responsible for the Carbon & Energy Solutions business, reporting directly to Managing Director Peter Jones.

Brumby was appointed due to his expertise with major contract negotiations in a career that has seen both private and public sector experience. Initially training as an engineer with the Merchant Navy, his career progressed into estates management in the NHS including roles at The Middlesex Hospital, St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals.

He was a founding member of the team that started Mace Macro, and had an instrumental role in the development and growth of the business in the UK and internationally, across the public and private sector. After a short career break in 2013 which saw Peter spend 10 months at sea to circumnavigate the world on the Clipper Race, he returned to work as a self-employed interim manager and consultant.

Building on his customer services experience, Mike Jones progresses into a new role as Performance and Solutions Director, G4S FM and will continue to report to Peter Jones. Mike will be responsible for safety, quality and compliance, technology and the development of G4S centres of excellence for cleaning, catering and technical services.
