As part of G4S Integrated Services, which specialises in providing integrated facilities management and specialist support services in critical environments, G4S Forensic and Medical Services will deliver the full range of forensic medical services to detainees and victims of crimes across the county of Lincolnshire.

Under the contract G4S Forensic and Medical Services will employ a multi-disciplined staff structure that includes doctors, nurses and paramedics. These highly trained staff will operate out of eight custody suites - processing around 25,000 detainees per year. In addition, G4S will also be providing Sexual Offence Examiners to work across the 4 specialist victim suites located throughout Lincolnshire to provide care and support to survivors and the chain of evidence to bring offenders to justice.

Inspector Andy Leighton, Lincolnshire Police’s Custody Liaison Officer, says, “We have already have some experience working with G4S when they provided temporary cover for us at Grantham Police Station”.  “This proved to be an extremely positive experience, and we look forward to continuing to work successfully with them in the future”.

Chris Elliott, Group Managing Director Integrated Services commented:” Following a competitive four way pitch I am delighted to announce that we have won a five year contract to provide Lincolnshire Police Force with essential forensic medical services. This contract win further strengthens our reputation in delivering critical support services to police forces across the UK.”
