G4S Risk Management’s Mine Action team was presented with the award in recognition of their highly dangerous work in clearing over seven million square metres of munitions in just 15 months.

Tony Thompson, G4S Mine Action Country Manager, was presented with the award by the Commander of the UN National Demining Office in Lebanon, Brigadier General Fehmy, at a gala event held in Beirut, Lebanon.

Tony commented: “It was a tough commercial contract with many demands on our international and national staff. I am extremely proud that the team has been given the recognition that they fully deserve for their work in such a dangerous environment.”
