Marcus is the Director G4S Risk Consulting, leading the Risk Consulting business unit including Intelligence and Advisory Services, and Specialist Training & Capacity Building.

Before joining G4S in 2021 Marcus was a security professional with over 28 years of experience, with a broad international background in high-risk regions including Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, primarily in the petroleum and maritime industry. Experienced in setting up security for offshore production facilities, land-based drilling operations, major capital projects and new country entry programs for International Oil Companies. Marcus is dedicated and versatile professional with an extensive background in security risk consultancy including the planning and execution of tasks, crisis management, personal and asset protection, emergency response and critical decision making.  

Marcus was a Royal Marine prior to joining the private security sector and his professional experience is coupled with academic work, he holds a Master’s Degree in Security and Risk Management, is a member of the Security Institute and qualified International Ship and Port Security for PFSO, CSO & SSO.
