Craig has more than 30 years’ experience in Corrections including Senior Management positions as well as managing a range of correctional facilities and operational services.

As Assistant Commissioner Custodial Operations, Department of Corrective Services, Western Australia, Craig led a state-wide staffing review and was Operational Commander for protracted critical incidents impacting correctional operations. He also managed the state’s Emergency Management Unit.

His work as the former Director of Port Philip Prison resulted in major operational reform and provided strategic leadership and change programs for operational improvement, emergency management and recovery. More recently, Craig was the Director of Justice Services at G4S.

Craig holds an Advanced Diploma in Correctional Management and has completed the Australian Correctional Leadership Program, Brush Farm Corrective Services Academy, New South Wales; Executive Development, Corrective Services Academy, Western Australia; Command and Leadership Instruction, Western Australian Police, and Australasian Inter-service Incident Management System (AIIMS), Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Western Australia.

Craig was appointed the Director of Services in 2023.
